Sandvik DP1500i Surface Top Hammer Drill
Located in the North Island, the Sandvik DP1500i is an intelligent, self-propelled, self-contained, crawler based surface drilling rig equipped with a cabin as well as a rod changer. With practical intelligence it fits perfectly for production drilling. Either in large quarries or open pit mines as well as construction work-sites.
Fully equipped, the new generation rig helps us give better service. The rig does this by producing information on the condition of the drill, as well as the work performed. This helps us to monitor progress at every step. Clever drilling parameter set up, an advanced ROPS/FOPS certified safety cabin, excellent visibility as well as step by step trouble shooting instructions mean our guys are able to spend more quality time providing drill and blast services.

Rock Commanders
One is located in the North Island – The ROCK COMMANDER JD1400-E and two are located in the South Island – The ROCK COMMANDER JD1400-E and JD1500-E. With the 3 Rock Commanders based in the North and South Islands they provide a quarry and mine site service.
